Itinerary
Day 1 – Oslo
The tour starts in Oslo, where we will welcome you on boardthe MS Trollfjord for your Signature voyage. Settle into yourcabin and meet the Coastal Experience team
Day 2 – at sea

Day 3 – Stavanger
Today, you’ll wake to views of beautiful Lysefjord, the 26-mile- long fjord. Along the way, watch for mountain goats, waterfalls, and the famous Kjeragbolten, a glacial boulder wedged high up in a crevasse. You’ll spend the rest of the day in Stavanger, a colourful waterside city.
Day 4 – Ålesund
After a hearty breakfast on the ship, we’ll dock mid-morning at a town that spreads out across a string of islands. With almost an entire day to explore, you’ll have plenty of time to see all that Ålesund has to offer.
Day 5 – Rørvik
Explore Rørvik, a charming fishing port with rich history and museums. In the afternoon, we’ll continue sailing north, through the Vikna archipelago, a stunning expanse of 6,000 islands, islets, and reefs.
Day 6 – Lofoten Islands
Today, we explore Lofoten, a striking group of islands that rise out of the Norwegian Sea. As soon as you see the towering peaks around you with fishing villages clinging to their sides, you’ll understand why this island chain is so often praised as one of Norway’s most stunning locations.
Day 7 – Tromsø and the Lyngen Alps
Often called the “gateway to the Arctic”, today we arrive in Tromsø. Board your private first-class coach and travel east through the breathtaking Lyngen Alps. Cross fjords by ferry and scenic roads, then continue to Kilpisjärvi, Finland, just 8 km from the Norwegian border.
Day 8 – Kilpisjarvi
Embark on a safari by snow sleigh or snowmobile, gliding across a frozen lake and through snowy birch forests to Koltavuoma. Here, the yellow border cairn of the three Nordic countries marks the world’s most serene border. Enjoy expert guiding, thermal outfits and delicious treats along the way.
Day 9 – Levi
Board a private coach to Levi for two nights in an aurora cabin, ideal for Northern Lights viewing. Enjoy a heated sleigh safari, then warm up with drinks, cookies, and marshmallows by a cosy fire.
Day 10 – Levi
Experience the thrill of driving huskies across Lapland’s sparkling snow-covered fells and gliding through Levi’s untouched forests on a sled. Afterwards, enjoy optional activities like a reindeer or snowmobile safari.
Day 11 – Kemi
Travel by private coach from Levi to Kemi, stopping briefly in Rovaniemi. Stay in Glass Villas, then enjoy an icebreaker adventure with an optional ice swim.
Day 12-14 – Helsinki
Travel by train from Kemi to Helsinki. Enjoy a city tour highlighting historic architecture, modern living, and beautiful natural scenery with nearby nature trails.
